The Mushroom Kingdom

If you're a big mario (or Nintendo) fan, then you might want to check out The Mushroom Kingdom. It has a collection of all sorts of weird information that no one man could construct and contain in his brain. What in the world is All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. anyway?

Did you know that Super Mario Bros. 2 in the USA is completely different from Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan, which is known as The Lost Levels in America, and Super Mario Bros. 2 from America is known as Super Mario USA in Japan? Have you ever wondered why SMB2(USA) is so different from every other Mario game? It's because it was a different game completely, they just changed some of the graphics.

But here is the coolest thing of all: There are hidden, lost levels inside Super Mario Bros. 3, eleven in all!

If you are truly a Nintendo freak, you probably already knew about this site. To the rest of you: Please help me.

Update: After YEARS of procrastination, I finally played ALL levels of Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, including world 9, and world A to D. I'm just happy the Super Nintendo version spots you an extra 2 lives and continuation from the level (not just the beginning of the world), which helps you keep your sanity. I must say I did pretty good for a bunch of difficult levels. My jump-and-move-right skills are still sharp. Man, I'm such a nerd. Don't they have medication for that now?

ok there is a new anime called "Samurai 7" its suppose to be based off the movie "Seven Samurai" bout the only thing in common with the two is the story line bandits are taking the food and water supply of this village and the village seeks out a samurai to prtect them that about all that the two have in common because i dont think that in the movie "Seven Samurai" there were giant robots and flying ships and stuff but the anime is still good and worth watching ...

2nd try

Ok. I blogged once but did something stupid or something and lost the entire blog. I was kinda upset as I'm sure you can imagine. So I'm gonna try again.

We made it out alive and everything from the deep dark jungle of homework and camping. It was touch and go there for a little while and I wasn't sure if it would be possible but we did in fact make it out. I made new friends and found new people to make fun of. All in all it was pretty okay.

My rubberband ball is now twice the size it used to be all thanks to field camp. I come back and all yous punks need to be put back into shape again. First we are going to have to go back to the Great Sand Dunes National Monument. Man what an awsome place. We can all go!!! We will play in the sand make a giant sand castle and sled down the slopes of the dunes and... everything. That place is the coolest place I have ever been. I want to move there..........

I got a day off... kinda.

Thanks to today's weather, I had most of the day off. High humidity caused us to delay cutting until 12:30, which allowed us to cut for about an hour, until it rained, and eventually, hailed on us. I wasn't able to cut due to my combine failing to start, and I'm sleeping in tomorrow. Usually we work on Sundays for harvest, but thanks to the rain, maybe I'll have another day off, which would be the 5th in two weeks. I don't mind, sleep is good.

What do you mean, "Who cares?" Who are you to say anything? You couldn't blog on the bloggiest day in blogging history if your blog depended on it. I'm sorry if I don't live a life of espionage, or if I can't even spell "espinage" correctly. "Why are you so defensive?" Hey, just back off man, if I wanted a game of twenty questions, I'd play the home game. Well, the video game anyway. Have you ever played Taboo for the Nintendo ("Ol' 8-bitty", I'd always say), made by Rareware, the same folks who brought Donkey Kong Country? No? I haven't either. I heard its a real stinker, almost as bad as the Atari 2600 game "E.T.", which I HAVE played, and yes, it is REALLY BAD. You've heard of the old Chinese torture where they plug every oriface in your head and then make you sneeze? Real messy, and really unpleasant. It's kind of like that.

Are you wanting to know what I type like when I'm really sleepy? Its this whole blog. I'll see if I can understand it tomorrow. Are you STILL reading this? Do yo want a prize for this? Well, ok. Have you ever played "Scorched Earth" for MS-DOS? Then you should like an updated newer game that is loosely based off of it: Scorched3D. Go play it! Although I haven't played this newer version. Tell me if you like it.

Life

It kind of feels good to know I'm still alive.
I miss my family, can't wait till I get to see them again.
Though at times I don't get along with my parents/sister, but I really do love them a lot. As of right now they are everything to me. They're kind of my motivation to keep going.
And that feels good.

Grant (I don't know if you read this) I love talking to you man. You're one of my better friends who I would like to consider family (though we don't get to hang out much and we don't talk a whole lot). I miss ya. I also miss Anwar. You are like a brother to me, I love you man! Now I'm all getting emotional. Its probably because I'm watching Oi! Ryoma. Awesome anime about Sakamoto Ryoma (look him up). I love Japan. The world is a beautiful place. And this blog is getting cheesy

Let the sneezing begin!

Stuffed up nose... itchy skin... watery eyes... sneezing mouth... Yes, that's right: Harvest began unceremoniously two days ago, and I feel like I got hit with a truck, full of grain no less.

Harvest is a weird experience of farming, it is a joyfull event because all of your hard work culminates to this event, and you get the big payoff. Or you'd hope that, at least. 14+ hour work days means that you aren't getting the usual amount of time to relax and sleep, but getting more money makes up for that.

Harvest is also one of the occasions where every task is dropped and everyone pitches in. Every worker on the farm is at one single field, operating the combines, grain cart, or the semis. It gives you a sense of togetherness, and you don't feel quite as alone as you would if you were farming a field.

This season has a slight somber feeling to it as well, because our crops were damaged due to the freeze in May. It was like what my dad said: What we have is supermodel wheat; It looks good, but there is nothing in the head.

So if you were wondering why I haven't done much communicating in the past few days, this is why.

four degrees

Well, I washed my truck yesterday (finally) and waxed it as well. Its all nice and shiny. Of couse I probably should have done this after my trip, but whatever. Thanks to Biebs and Tom for helping me wash the car.

Which reminds me, I have found 2 people willing to go to Japan with me this winter break, and both may be able to save up enough money to do it too! I've always wanted to take my friends to Japan cause that would be so cool. It just sucks that it costs $1,000 or more to go there (roundtrip). If I were rich I would pay for my friends as well, especially those who kindly let me stay at their house durring breaks. I hate being the guest, I'd rather be the host.

Time to work

Well I only have a few more things to do before my class is over. but then I have to do what Lester cannot... find a job. and at this point and time I am ready to work or atleast beg for money cause i got a bill. So I came up with a plan for everyone to send me a dollar so I don't have to work. I only need $950 so start sending the monies. It is much appreciated!
