Velveeta: Not real cheese, but still delicious

I've got to get something off my chest. I get really cheesed off when people dis Velveeta, all because it isn't technically a cheese, but instead a "cheese product." Personally, the fact that it is or isn't a real cheese doesn't matter. Taste is the prime factor for me. And brother, it tastes awesome.

So back off, processed cheese haters! I'm taking a stand, here and now!

I also have a thing against people-against-using-microwaves-for-cooking, but I'll save that for another slow news day when I have absolutely nothing to talk about.

I like using Velveeta to make cheese dip, so that might be deceptive if Velveeta is not really cheese. Maybe it should be called cheese product dip.

Put down the gun Shayne we will call it cheese.

I think being processed is a virtue. How often have you been denied a dairy snack because your Brie was a wee bit aged and fuzzy? Seriously. If there was a nuclear attack, we could all survive on our aluminum-shielded, non-expirabale Velveeta. So humble, yet so good.

The stuff is one molecule away from being plastic. It is barely edible. It is edible, but then again in my lifetime I have eaten chap stick, paper, glue and Army T-rations (if you don't know, then consider yourself lucky) to name a few.
