Sometime bad things happen

When I hear the sad the news that doug lost today; one of my first thoughts was sometimes losers win. Later while talking to Brain, I decided that this was not fully true. I think the SGA election, no matter how it turned out, was a good thing. It got people invouled and they learned a lot of things. It is a little sad that those that party the most get the most votes. Lester and I finally have a peephole on our dormroom door, instead of just on the two doors inside the room. Now we can see who it is, plus our room is slightly less retarded. so it's saturday morning, the "last" day of spring break...paul thinks he has shingles, dad is sanding on the stairway (a very very loud and dusty undertaking), thus i'm unable to go upstairs - which is why i have a perfectly good reason for wearing my pajamas all day long. i'm listening to johnny cash's biggest hits cd for what seems like the millionth time but is actually only the 2nd - if i turned it off, dad would boycott or probably impress me into service. it's almost noon, and mom will probably try and feed me again, despite the fact that i'm still recovering from her gluten-free waffles - no wonder johnny is singing about a burning ring of fire... how ironic. well, to sum up this vacation, it rained, and when it didn't rain, it was occasionally sunny. the whole time it was cold. i ran out of butter AND real flour, which puts a crimp on cookie baking. i crocheted a really homely scarf, and then discovered that i was rapidly turning into my mother. i watched i,robot...it was a good movie. and if you're still reading this post, kudos to you. i'm gonna go find some socks now cause my feet are cold.

Sometimes I wonder what it will take to keep myself from knocking the physics department to the ground. I hate foreign teacher I don't think I have gotten above a C in a class where a foreign teacher was incharge. For some reason I can only blog on occasions when my computer will allow me acess to the dashboard. It is rare that this happens and I wonder what it takes to get it so that I could make it to this screen all the time. I saw a sign in Quiznos, written in Italian. It reads "Non sapevo che tu fossi filosofo."

I, a non-Italian speaker, used Google language tools to translate this. Literally (according to Google), it means "I did not know that you pits philosopher."

What?! I looked it up using Google search, finding the line that makes more sense: "I did not know that you were a philosopher."

Still, what's Quiznos doing with this sign? It has nothing to do with food... except with the philosophy part. I have a strong philosophical bond with food. So strong, in fact, that I could die if I don't eat. Crazy world.

And if you want a tasty recipe for devils food cake, check out this translation from English to Portuguese to English to German to English. Have fun.

...Now, I'm not one to start trouble, but isn't that a very bloggable event? I'd certainly blog about it. I blog about few things, because, quite frankly, my life at this point is boring. Why do I even blog, I have nothing of real importance to contribute to society?

Because it makes me feel big, and that was a pretty rude question.

Needless to say, I'm proud of you Alex, and I will be prepping tomatoes and heads of lettuce for the premire.

So there I was: it was 3:30 Tuesday afternoon and I was watching Dave the Barbarian and some show about the world ending and eating chocolate frosting out of a can when I received a great insight: Naps are wonderful. Oh, and I have no life… So, if the world was going to end tonight at say, oh 8:00 (hypothetically – I honestly don’t know anything about the world getting blown up by a…well, I better not say), how would YOU spend your remaining hours? I can tell you what I would be doing. Taking a nap.

One more thing: I’m starting to notice that I scare myself sometimes. You know, like you’re standing there and somebody comes up behind you and goes CHEETOS really loud in your ear. Yeah I do that…to myself. It all started after I invented time travel, too… Weird, huh?

The MSN Messenger Service is experiencing worldwide sporadic problems this weekend. Ranging from contact lists not being available, to service outages, the problems have worsened today with many unable to sign on at all.

Some users are still connected but many have been forced off the Messenger Service. MSN's status page which provides updates to customers about any service problems is currently experiencing "Server is too busy" errors and ASP errors.

We are awaiting a response on these issues from Microsoft; it is not known exactly what is causing the problems. Previously, human error has triggered large outages on the popular chat network.

with all this UT2004 talk i opened up my ut2004 server. so if you would like to play messege me on msn and ill give you the password. to join my server you have to right click in the ut2004 internet sever selection and enter this address "utgotye.no-ip.org" without the quotes and yeas im aware the address says utgoyte and not ut2004 it just that i run a utgotye server as well and it use the same ports as ut2004 so i didnt see the need to create a new url for ut2004.
