The New Year is here, and let us make it a great year. The Blog looks like it ended 2004 about the best I have ever seen. I looked back to the early days of the blog and it looks like we have come a long ways. But how can one say a blog declared to do nothing has come a long ways? Answer that.

And now that I look back at the function (because I looked at your post five days earlier, before I posted my post), I now see that it does indeed, like you said, have nothing to do with FFT. My implementation only works on a 2-dimensional coordinate system, not 3. Perhaps we can convert it to a cylindrical coordinate system, but then again I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'll stop talking now.
