Anyone who snap judges others is an idiot

I just finished dammer diking today! What a boring job. But, you sit in a tractor for 12 hours straight and earn money, so its all good. Since we finished early, I get tomorrow off and go to a cousin of mine's wedding. Plus, Candi is here so we've got some catching up to do.

I debated whether I should put the next paragraph in here. I know we like to keep things lighthearted in this blog, and politics is the farthest thing away from lightheartedness (don't worry, there isn't much). Then again, I also know most of you stop reading my posts three sentences in, so I'll say whatever I want.

I've been viewing and hearing a lot of coverage of Regan's funeral. When he was president, I was still a little rapscalian, and I didn't really care too much about politics (I guess I still don't). From what I could gather over those and the years after, he seemed like a regular old dude that really didn't do anything. But this week, I've heard many of his speechs and anecdotes, and now my views of him are flip-flopped. He was the funniest president ever, and helped bring this country back around from a president that didn't have any idea what he was doing: Carter. Some of his lines were really classic: "...This fellow [Clinton] they've nominated claims he's the new Thomas Jefferson. Well let me tell you something; I knew Thomas Jefferson..." That just cracks me up. Oh, and who could forget the time that all of the air traffic controllers were fired. He meant business. Although I never really fully experienced his presidency, it sounds like he held many ideals that a great president should have.

If you're still reading this, then I guess I didn't know you as well as I thought. I'm sorry. As a token of forgiveness, here is a link to Lester and I's music video: Singing a Song

That's awesome. And just because you believe, I'll give you a link to another media player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
I haven't used it yet, but from what I hear it is very good. I'm still trying to download it, and you know how long it takes to download from dial-up.
